Tea Profile:
GABA Oolong tea was discovered by Japanese researchers in 1987. When fresh tea leaves undergo a prolonged anaerobic fermentation process, they naturally produce high levels of Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA). This discovery spurred Japanese scholars to research and develop GABA tea. GABA tea (GABA-tea) is a novel product made from natural tea leaves with a high concentration of Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (γ—Aminobutyric acid). In Japan, it is commonly referred to as GABARON TEA due to its exceptionally smooth and palatable taste, earning it the nickname "Smooth Tea" (順口茶). In mainland China, it is known as "Golden White Dragon Tea" (金白龍茶).
