Please be cautious of color transfer, especially when new. Avoid wearing light-colored clothing when first using the bag. ◾️ Scars and Vein Marks Scars and vein marks from the animal's life are preserved on the surface and back. Because it is natural leather crafted to showcase its natural characteristics, each piece becomes unique. ◾️ Color Variation Leather finished only with dyes, without the use of pigments, is difficult to control in color, leading to inevitable variations. Even within the same color, there can be differences. This is the natural, characteristic look of leather achieved through dye finishing. ◾️ Variation in Texture and Grain Grain refers to the wrinkled pattern on the leather surface. The density of this pattern can vary across a single hide, with some areas having more pronounced grain than others. These differences are part of the charm of natural leather. ◾️ Markings Indicating Italian Leather and Hide Size The numbers on the back are a mark of Italian leather and indicate the size of the hide. Each hide is stamped with one such number, which has a distinctive character. These markings are left as they are, often on high-quality sections of the leather, and may occasionally appear on the product. Personally, I find items with these numbers appealing. ◾️ Water Stains Water can be absorbed, leading to stains. Wiping the leather as soon as possible after it gets wet can help prevent stains. Applying a leather treatment like Renapur can provide water-repellent effects. ◾️ Wrinkles (Tora) These are streak-like patterns or wrinkles that appear in areas of intense stretching and contraction during the animal's movement. They are a natural characteristic of genuine leather and are not indicative of cracks or splits. ◾️ Luxurious All-Leather Construction with Sturdy Leather Only, No Lining Typical leather products use thin leather bonded with core materials for strength, and often have linings inside. However, unlike leather, linings can deteriorate over time, becoming sticky or peeling. To ensure longevity, this bag is constructed using only sturdy leather, utilizing its thickness and strength without any lining. ◾️ Maintenance The Italian leather used at LADIES&GENTLEMEN will develop a richer luster and deeper patina over time with oil-based maintenance. Apply oil to the bag approximately every 3 to 6 months. We recommend Renapur, available in our online store. Renapur is a leather treatment that conditions, shines, and repels water. Small leather goods, due to frequent handling, will naturally develop a lustrous color change without additional treatment. ◾️ Returns and Exchanges We do not accept returns or exchanges unless there is a defect in the product. In the event of damage or defects caused by accidents during shipping, or if you receive an incorrect item, we will replace it at our expense. ◾️ Delivery Time As all items are made to order, please allow 2-3 weeks for small items and 3-4 weeks for bags.
