All processes, from clay kneading to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, are done by hand in my studio, which is equipped with a small electric kiln and a potter's wheel. While mass production is not possible, each piece has its own unique expression, allowing you to enjoy the nuances of handmade craftsmanship. The item you receive will be the same as pictured. The base of the bowl has been sanded to minimize scratching your table. I explore various combinations of glazes and clays, constantly seeking better pairings, and create a diverse range of pottery in various colors and shapes. For this reason, our shop applies a water-stopping treatment using a ceramic sealant before shipping, so there is no need for initial glazing (mezome). As this water-stopping treatment requires 2-3 days, the shipping period is set at 5 days from order placement.
