Each grinder is handcrafted from a single piece of olive wood, sustainably harvested from Tunisia forests. The grinder is made by North African artisans from whole olive wood aged 25-200 years, caramel colour with dark brown patterns. Please allow variations on size, color, and wood grains as each item is being handcrafted from Olive wood. --------------------------------------- HOW TO USE? 1) Gently pull-up the upper part of the grinder (lid) 2) Pour in ingredients or spices and close the lid 3) Turning the knob at the bottom to adjust the preferable size of the grind (clockwise for a finer grind, counterclockwise for coarser. ) 4) Turning the upper lid and enjoy the aroma. --------------------------------------- HOW TO CLEAN? (The mechanism can easily be removed by turning the bottom knob counterclockwise) 1) For the first time use, gently rinse with warm water with a small amount of coarse salt. Avoid using hot water and do not place in dishwasher. 2) After cleaning, wipe clean with damp cloth and leave it to dry. 3) Apply a thin layer of wood butter on the surface of the wood.
