[Ai Zhi Picture Book Library] Whoever Catches This Paper Airplane? (Hardcover with included audio-visual resources)

Mimi the bear, feeling unwell, resides in a children's hospital. Her lonely heart yearns for companionship and conversation. A paper airplane, left on a chair, opens Mimi's heart. Mimi begins to fold paper airplanes, launching them out of the hospital walls. As they fly, where will the wind carry them? Will the paper airplanes help Mimi forge connections of friendship? [About the Creator] Author / Yan-Ru Shih About me... A "Pig Sister" born in 1971, I enjoy reading, writing, and coffee. About this book... There's an old English song called "Whoever Finds This, I Love You." The sentiment of this song is the origin of this story. Everyone experiences loneliness in different forms. A glance, an action, a word... can dissolve this loneliness. We are all Mimi, but we can also proactively send out paper airplanes. Illustrator / Yun-Tzu Ho About me... Born in Taipei in 1962. I began working on children's illustrations and picture books in 1984. The most joyful part after finishing illustrations is eagerly sharing the world within the artwork with the editor who just received the colored drafts, especially when the author and editor are the same person... that feeling of creating together is wonderful. About this book... I wasn't very good at folding paper airplanes before, but after illustrating this book, I've grown to love folding them. I even know which ones can fly high and far. Can you imagine me, drawing and launching airplanes, with my entire studio scattered with all sorts of paper airplanes?
