The first set of the British-made Matchbox car Lesney Products -yesteryear enlarged model (1:43)
Lesney Products is the founding brand of Matchbox cars in the UK. After its bankruptcy in June 1982, it was acquired by an American company and renamed Matchbox International Ltd. The production line was slowly transferred from England to Macau, so I wanted to buy something purely made in the UK. Please note the Made in England signature on the bottom of the car. The brand (Matchbox International Ltd) was officially discontinued in 1992.
This model is a Yesteryear model, with a scale of 1:43 (9~11cm), which is relatively large for a small car, and is larger than another common British small car brand LLedo. The box has double windows and can be displayed on both sides.
Box size: about 16~17cm
Year: circa 1978
The body of the car is generally in good condition, but the box has obvious traces of history. Old parts will inevitably have traces of history. Those who can accept it will buy it.
