Important Precautions for Using the Glass Lid:
1. After removing the glass lid from the refrigerator, do not place it directly onto a hot pot for heating. Rapid temperature changes can cause the glass to crack.
2. Place glass items in a safe area to prevent accidental contact or tipping. Keep out of reach of children and those with limited mobility.
3. Keep away from open flames or high-temperature heat sources. Glass material should not directly contact flames to prevent localized overheating, damage, or breakage.
4. Avoid using in microwave ovens, conventional ovens, or dishwashers, as this may alter or damage the glass.
5. Prolonged dry heating or empty heating can cause excessive temperatures, creating stress and leading to glass cracking. Therefore, extended periods of dry heating are not recommended.
6. During cold weather (room temperature below 10°C), it is recommended to allow the glass lid to warm to 20-25°C before placing it on a hot pot. This helps prevent potential cracking due to significant temperature differences.
7. Do not rinse the pot with cold water immediately after heating. Rapid temperature changes can cause the glass to crack.
8. If the glass lid and pot feel too tightly fitted with significant friction or resistance, refrain from placing it directly on the pot for heating. The expansion of stainless steel during heating could exert pressure on the glass lid, potentially causing it to crack. It is recommended to consult the manufacturer first.
9. The knob on the glass lid should not be tightened excessively. It should be secured enough to prevent wobbling, but avoid overtightening, which can put direct pressure on the glass lid and lead to cracking.
10. Before each heating session, it is strongly recommended to inspect the glass lid for any cracks. If cracks are present, do not use the lid, as it may crack further during heating.
11. High-heat cooking or heating for over 15 minutes is not advised, as it may increase the risk of the glass lid cracking.
12. For daily simmering and stewing on medium-low heat, continuous heating for 1 hour is generally acceptable, provided there is sufficient liquid in the pot and no dry or empty heating occurs. This prevents stress that can lead to glass cracking. Therefore, prolonged use in this manner is not recommended.
13. Warranty Coverage: Damage, cracks, or breakage present upon unboxing a new product. (Please provide an unboxing video.)
Out of Warranty Coverage: Cracking caused by manually tightening, spinning, or forcibly adjusting the handle, leading to concentrated stress on the glass. Damage to the lid caused by using non-recommended tools or unauthorized disassembly/assembly of the handle. Breakage due to dropping, impact, knocking, or pressure applied to the lid during use. Glass cracking caused by prolonged dry heating or rapid cooling. Products without proof of purchase or those that are out of the warranty period.
