Japanese Craftsmanship
Jili's jewelry is handcrafted using recycled materials and inspired by the idea of Japanese folk crafts and traditional culture.
Production Process
In Zen, the circle symbolizes infinity, enlightenment, psychology, and the universe, and its interpretation is left to the eye of the beholder. The continuous flowing movement of the circle, , which has no beginning or end, and is never caught in a corner, represents a mind free from captivity and obsession. To make the most of the beautiful and lustrous quality of the silk thread, we carefully wrap a single silk thread around the metal base.
The pierced earring post is made of 925 sterling silver which does not cause metal allergy easily.
Sustainability
All pieces are made from high-quality Japanese silk threads, which are unexpectedly leftover in the production process of woven fabrics such as Kimono. We heard that surplus silk thread is often thrown away, so we wondered if there was any way to avoid wasting precious thread spun from the cocoons made by the silkworms without leaving any short threads.
We can rewind the thread and repair the base to make it last for a long time.
