Bouquet of roses

The painting was created from fabric used for interior decoration. The fabric itself was part of an exclusive collection for interior decoration. More than 15 years ago, at that time I was engaged in interior decoration with textiles, fabrics from this collection were used to decorate a large house. The collection included fabric with delicate bouquets of roses, plain, with interesting stripes and other companion fabrics. Wall panels, upholstery for upholstered furniture, pillows for sofas and other elements were made from them. To select a suitable color, several shades of fabric were ordered. This collection was produced in a small private workshop only to order and only in the required quantity. The collection itself was produced for a short time, about a year. And it has long been discontinued. Only samples remain. From these samples, I made these small and very cute paintings for the interior. The base fabric is duplicated along the perimeter to prevent spillage and maintain shape. Additionally, a lining was used. This painting shows a delicate bouquet of roses on a light beige background. Each element of the painting - the roses themselves, stems, leaves and the details surrounding them are voluminous. This imitates voluminous hand embroidery with silk in the style of Europe in the 18th-19th centuries. This is how expensive fabrics were embroidered for the clothes of kings and courtiers, for decorating palaces and country residences. For the indicated amount, you only buy the painting itself, prepared for subsequent framing. For the final framing, you only need to choose a frame that matches the color and style of the painting.
