Tapestry made of oksa material.
After the rain, the spider web shows a beautiful pattern with glittering polka dots.
On a hot day like this, just looking at the scenery through the black okusa seems to cool you down. I made a spider web tapestry with black okusa because I want you to take a break in the beautiful spider web and the cool okusa. If you look through the light, it may look like a spider web after rain.
There is no hole for a stick to pass through, so you can hang it with string or pinch it to decorate your window. It can also be used as a dust cloth.
Okusa is written in kanji as tamsha. Two silkworms make one cocoon at the same time, and it is a silk fabric using the thread taken from the cocoon. It is so called because the thread is twisted like a ball, and it is a very rare and valuable fabric. The texture is smooth and firm. Therefore, it is mainly used as a summer material in Korea.
It has a sense of sheerness and transforms the summer sun into a gentle light.
61 cm to 63 cm square
