Our journey began with a chance encounter and a beloved dog named Sin. In 2002, during a walk with my dog in Korea, I had an accident and was helped by a kind woman named Gyeong-mi. This moment sparked a beautiful friendship, and she introduced me to the art of pojagi, a traditional Korean patchwork technique. To honor the connection brought about by my dog, I incorporated "sin" into our brand name.
We handcraft noren and tapestries using the pojagi method. In Korean tradition, pojagi was used to wrap and carry valuable items, symbolizing the act of "wrapping blessings." It is our hope that each piece we create brings a sense of joy and good fortune to those who welcome it into their homes.
The fabrics we use are inspired by the vibrant materials found in traditional Korean clothing, known for their variety and beauty. By combining these exquisite fabrics, we aim to create pieces that seamlessly blend into your everyday life, adding a touch of elegance and meaning to your spaces.
Our designs are crafted with the goal of evoking a sense of nature and serenity in your home. Nearly all of our materials are carefully sourced and imported from Korea, ensuring authenticity and quality.
Let our noren and tapestries enrich your home by adorning windows, hallways, or walls, and help turn your everyday moments into something a little more special and heartwarming
