The "China Rural Rejuvenation Federation" is responsible for supervising and implementing the use of US aid in the development of Taiwan's agriculture. Yang Yingfeng was invited to be the art editor. In the past 11 years, he had to travel all over Taiwan's countryside because of the subject matter, and became a historical witness of the agricultural transformation in the 1950s. Therefore, he applied what he saw and thought to the prints and sculptures of the "Rural Earth Series", depicting the simplicity and perseverance of farmers, art critics Mr. Xie Lifa also once said: "After the war in Taiwan, only Yang Yingfeng's carving knife gave a detailed testimony to the early rural and people's life in Taiwan." The idea of this work comes from the early woodblock prints. First, a small amount of engraving and removal of a few strokes were made on a refractory brick, and then it was remade into Bronze. Therefore, it still retains the volume of a long cube, but only uses an abstract linear knife method.
