About the Work This is a framed original artwork depicting a blue-winged morpho butterfly. The butterfly part is made by applying multiple layers of Japanese painting paint to create a transparent look. The background is completely covered in foil, giving it a glittering finish. It comes in a 17cm x 17cm square antique style frame. The frame also has a foldable stand on the back, so it can be displayed either on a wall or standing on its own. I use Japanese painting pigments made from crushed minerals and glass on Japanese paper. Washi paper is a very strong material and is said to last for over 1000 years, so you can rest assured that you will be able to enjoy this piece for a long time. 3. About the author -Shion Tan I am a painter in Japan. I paint with motifs of beautiful things that exist in nature, such as animals, plants, and insects. 4. About delivery Your artwork will be shipped via registered mail with tracking and insurance within 5 days of payment confirmation.
