Vintage 70s Romona Rull dress
Hand block painted in Pakistan
Stunning Pakistani block prints, exuding a classical charm distinct from Indian styles.
The colors and patterns blend harmoniously, reminiscent of a vibrant spring garden,
undoubtedly crafted by highly skilled block printing artisans.
Romona Rull is a classic 70s hippie dress brand,
often featuring block-printed kaftan dresses originating from Pakistan.
This is an exceptionally rare and collectible piece.
Originally designed with a back zipper for closure,
it appears to have been altered by a previous owner,
converted into a pullover style with a small hidden hook at the back of the neck.
Flat measurements:
Shoulder: 44 cm
Bust: 49 cm
Length: 140 cm
Washing recommendation: Hand wash separately.
The garment features mirror embroidery. The mirrors may show signs of oxidation,
which is not considered a defect. Please refrain from purchasing if this is a concern!
Mirror embroidery, as a craft,
originated from a tribal belief that mirrors could ward off evil and negative energies.
It later evolved into a classic ethnic embroidery technique, widely used in fashion during the 1970s!
