|Braided hand rope/leg rope|Dawu three primary colors
Black, white and red are the most commonly used colors in the traditional crafts of the Dawu people. In the old days when there was no paint, pot bottom black ash, shell ash and red clay were used to color the crafts respectively.
|Material of work|
The material is silk Wax thread, which is waterproof, so the braided hand ropes/foot ropes will not accumulate water, become moldy and smelly, and are healthier to wear. You can wear it to take a bath or go to the sea. There will be a layer of Wax on the surface initially. After the rope is raised, it will become more beautiful and shiny.
|Measurement method|
How to measure hand/foot circumference: Put a rope around your wrist/ankle, and then use a ruler to measure the length of the rope. Just measure the exact length. We will add a little more length to make the hand rope tight enough.
