The Bark Table Night Ligh - Lighting - Plants & Flowers

Product Description

Paper mulberry is a native plant to Taiwan, dioecious and distributed mainly in flat to low-altitude mountainous areas, and most people should be familiar with it. Even if they do not know the name of the tree, they may have seen it on the roadside, park, school or when they climb mountains, on open land with plenty of sunshine, high fertility and vigorous. It is also commonly known as the deer tree in Taiwan because the bark is rich in fiber, and in the past, it was a good raw material for printing rice paper, cotton paper, and banknotes. The whole plant secretes milk, which can be made into a paste. The product (the Bark Table Night Light) is naturally shaped using this property. Some scholars have found from the chlorophyll DNA of "tree construction" that because the tree is used to make bark cloth, the Austronesian language family brought the tree from Taiwan all the way to the islands of the Pacific Islands, which also proved that the Austronesian language family used Taiwan as a base and expanded eastward. Bark cloth is not only used for daily life but also served in meaningful functions such as worship, life ritual, or exchange. The close relationship between the tree and the Austronesian language groups has become an important clue for studying the migration of the Austronesian language family. The tree seeds cross the ocean and connect the intimate relationships of Austronesian communities. It is not only a link of blood but also a common ride on the wisdom of the culture. In the Austronesian culture, people and things are not only connected by their functionality. Things also serve as a medium of emotions and norms.
