For the first cleaning, wash several times with a mild neutral detergent. You may also wipe it thoroughly with a paper towel dipped in edible oil to easily remove any residual grey titanium powder from the manufacturing process, then wash again with neutral detergent. Since food-grade oil is used for stamping and no acid pickling is performed, some residual grey titanium powder is unavoidable. The manufacturing process for non-toxic pure titanium is safe, so you can clean it with confidence. 2. If there are burn marks or stubborn grime, use the abrasive side of a sponge or a soft steel wool brush to gently scrub. 3. If colored surfaces are scrubbed and the original metal color is exposed, rest assured: because there is no coating, pure titanium is safe and non-toxic, containing no heavy metals. It is safe for cleaning. 4. Do not soak in reducing acids such as stain remover powder, hydrogen peroxide, or sodium percarbonate cleaners, as this will remove the color and luster of the titanium, which cannot be restored. 【Characteristics Explanation】 1. Pure titanium is sensitive to temperature and stress release. Items like lunch boxes, containers, or square pots may show food stains, large blue-purple patches after boiling/cooking, or brown patches after washing (without heating). These are not rust; they are characteristics of the metal or results of our pre-firing process. This does not affect safe use; marks will fade or disappear over time with normal use. 2. Square-shaped items, due to more difficult stress release, experience more intense color changes and are more prone to brown patches. 3. Pots, cutting boards, and small baking trays may undergo blue-purple color changes when used in ovens above 250°C or over direct gas flames. The color will not disappear, but this does not affect safety. 4. Large flat surfaces are more prone to warping when exposed to direct gas flames. 5. Pure titanium easily retains water spots due to its metallic nature. If this is a concern, wipe dry immediately after washing to avoid water spots affecting the appearance. 【Appliance Compatibility】 Single-walled titanium tableware is safe for heating; double-walled items are not for heating. Dish Dryer: Compatible. If residual grease like olive oil remains, blue-purple powder may appear during drying; this is dried-on grease and will disappear once cleaned properly.
