Nowadays, some lower-quality jadeite can be treated with strong acid immersion or laser etching to fill in colors, making them appear similar to high-grade jadeite. Jadeite in the market is typically identified by the letters A, B, and C to distinguish its quality: - Grade A Jadeite: Natural jadeite, unprocessed. - Grade B Jadeite: Bleached and resin-injected jadeite, treated with strong acid washing and resin filling. - Grade C Jadeite: Dyed jadeite, artificially colored. Only Grade A jadeite is genuine; the rest are artificially treated. 💖 l Care Instructions l - If not worn for extended periods, store in a moisture-proof bag to minimize contact with air. - Each piece of jewelry should be stored separately to prevent scratches from friction. Chain jewelry should be fastened and stored in a moisture-proof bag to avoid tangling. - Sterling Silver: Polish with a silver polishing cloth. - Gold-Plated/Filled Material: Wipe with a cotton cloth (do not use silver cleaner). - Jadeite: Use a soft toothbrush with clean water to gently brush the jadeite. Rinse with clean water and dry with a cotton cloth or allow to air dry in a ventilated area. Avoid wearing any jewelry in hot springs or the sea. It is recommended to remove jewelry when showering. Avoid contact with chemical products to prevent oxidation and discoloration. - It is advisable to apply sunscreen and perfume before putting on jewelry. - All jewelry is handmade. Avoid pulling, bending, twisting, or yanking when wearing. 🌹 l Before You Buy l - Jadeite is a natural mineral, so it is inevitable that there may be naturally occurring small stone lines, cotton inclusions, stone veins, black spots, white impurities, mineral defects, sand holes, or ice-cracked textures. These are all natural phenomena and characteristics, not flaws. Please accept this before purchasing ♥ - Due to manual carving, there may be slight roughness or unevenness in polishing and grinding. We appreciate your understanding. - Product photos are taken in natural light without retouching. However, slight color differences may occur due to individual screen resolutions and settings. Free re-stringing service is available. - If 14k gold-plated/filled chains discolor due to contact with chemicals, they can be sent back for re-stringing (service fee NT$300). - It is recommended to replace consumables annually, such as elastic threads / clasps / ear hooks / wax cords (service fee NT$50~NT$150).
