[Frequently Asked Questions] Q: Can I specify the delivery date? A: Delivery can be scheduled for Monday-Saturday (Saturday delivery is only available for the morning slot). Dates may vary due to national holidays; please refer to the Black Cat delivery service announcements. Q: When is the recommended delivery date? A: Cakes are delivered frozen. We recommend delivery one or two days before the celebration. Thaw in the refrigerator the day before the event for consumption the next day. Q: Can I pick up at a convenience store? A: We currently do not offer convenience store pickup or cash on delivery. All orders are shipped via Black Cat's low-temperature frozen home delivery service. Q: What kind of pet photo is required? A: Please provide a photo that clearly shows your pet's face and ears for the best results. [Ordering Information] • We recommend ordering cakes 10-15 days in advance. If you are unable to order within this timeframe, please message us to inquire about availability. • Cakes are delivered frozen and require thawing time. Please select a delivery date one or two days before the celebration, not on the celebration day itself. • Orders for custom sugar toppers are limited each month and will close once capacity is reached. Please order early if you wish to add a topper. • As these are custom-made cakes, production will only begin after the order is placed and payment is confirmed. If payment is overdue and the order is canceled by the system, it will be considered a forfeiture of the reservation, and production will not be arranged. [Ingredients] • Ingredients for each style are detailed in their respective product descriptions. If there are any ingredients your pet cannot consume, please note this in the remarks section, and they will be omitted. • The primary ingredients for piped decorations are 〈mashed potato + unsweetened fresh cream〉 in a ratio of 10:1 potato to cream. If your pet has an allergy to these ingredients, 〈mashed sweet potato〉 can be used as an alternative for piping. Cakes piped with sweet potato will not be available for custom text or color choices, as they will be in the natural sweet potato color. [Main Cake Body Ingredients] • 〈For Dogs〉: Meat + Broccoli + Carrot + Chia Seeds • 〈For Cats〉: Meat + Crushed Dried Fish + Chia Seeds • If there are no allergen concerns, both dog and cat cakes can be enjoyed by either pet. [Thawing Instructions] • We recommend refrigerating and thawing for at least 12 hours before the celebration. If still frozen, allow to thaw at room temperature or microwave on a low setting. Consume within 2-3 days. • Thawing at room temperature takes approximately 1-2 hours. Some water may appear during this process, which is normal. • For fully frosted cakes, a protective bubble wrap collar will be applied around the sides. Please remove this collar while the cake is still frozen to prevent sticking. • When refrigerating or freezing, keep the cake inside its box to prevent the surface from drying out due to direct exposure to cold air, which can cause severe cracking. [Shelf Life] • When received frozen, the cake can be stored in the freezer for 15-20 days. In the refrigerator, it can be stored for 2-3 days. [About Sugar Toppers] • Sugar toppers can only be purchased as an add-on when buying a cake; they are not sold separately. • Sugar toppers are customized to resemble your pet's appearance and fur color. Our style is cute and cartoonish. • Sugar toppers are made from fondant, which is primarily sugar. We do not recommend feeding them to pets. • Upon receiving the topper, allow it to warm up at room temperature. It may appear sticky due to condensation, but it will gradually dry out over time. • Storage: Once dry, store the sugar topper in a cool, dry place. [Shipping Information] • Black Cat low-temperature home delivery incurs a shipping fee of NT$160. • For deliveries to outlying islands (Penghu, Kinmen, Matsu, Green Island), please inform us separately as shipping fees differ from the main island. • The following areas are excluded from parcel delivery services: Magong City, Penghu County (Hujing Island, Tongpan Island), Wang'an Township, Cimei Township, Baisha Township (Dacangyu Island, Yuanbeiyu Island); Lieyu, Kinmen County (Dadan Island, Erdan Island), Wūqiu Township; Lanyu Township, Taitung County; Diaoyutai Islands, Dongsha Islands, Nansha Islands. • Cake delivery carries inherent risks. Upon receiving the cake, please unbox and inspect it immediately for severe damage or spoilage due to temperature issues. If you find any problems, please take photos and contact us as soon as possible for further assistance. • For specific delivery instructions, you may add notes when ordering, and we will relay them to the driver. • During peak delivery periods (e.g., Lunar New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Double 11), Black Cat cannot guarantee next-day delivery. Please order in advance and schedule delivery 2-3 days before the celebration to avoid missing the event. • Due to high delivery volumes during peak seasons, delivery quality may be unstable. We strongly advise scheduling delivery in advance to avoid these periods. We are not responsible for any damage to cakes delivered during Black Cat's announced peak periods. Please consider this carefully before ordering. • While delivery dates can be specified, we are not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances during transit, such as the inability to contact the recipient, no one being available at the delivery address, or unavoidable events (e.g., typhoons, natural disasters). • If ordering more than two cakes for different addresses, please place separate orders for each address. [Delivery Date Recommendations & Regulations] • It is best to schedule delivery 1-2 days before the celebration. This provides a buffer in case of unforeseen delivery delays. • If you are sending a cake to a location like a B&B, hotel, or restaurant, please arrange for delivery in advance so it can be properly stored by the establishment, preventing same-day delivery issues. • If your cake has not arrived by the specified date and time, please contact Black Cat customer service or us before 17:00 on that day. We will investigate and resolve the issue. Delays in reporting may result in inability to process the issue until the next business day, for which we are not responsible. • If the recipient needs to be contacted by phone upon arrival, please inform us so we can add a note for the driver to prevent them from leaving if no one is available. • If you are unsure if someone will be available to receive the delivery or if the recipient can be reached by phone, we recommend picking up the package yourself from the local Black Cat service center during their operating hours.
