Using the traditional "temomi箔" (hand-crumpled foil) technique used in Kyoto Nishijin, a unique "ginpaku" (silver foil) has been developed by spraying ink to create three-dimensional shadows, giving the illusion of a textured metal surface. As each piece is handmade, the resulting "temomi ginpaku" material is entirely unique in the world. ◎Product Description The "shopper bag" is KENTO HASHIGUCHI's interpretation of the common paper bag, reimagined as a handbag. While resembling a paper bag, it is crafted with the durability of a bag, featuring base studs and metal reinforcements on the edges of the fabric. Like a paper bag, it has round holes through which the handles are vertically threaded. The bag maintains the form of a paper bag while offering ample strength thanks to the base studs and the accent metal fittings at the corners. It can be carried over the shoulder or by hand, just like a conventional paper bag.
