[FIRST FLUSH ROASTED GREEN TEA]
Ichibancha(first flush) is carefully roasted, and it has a fragrant aroma and a sweet taste. Suitable as a daily tea and goes well with sweets
[SENCHA]
You can taste the unique flavor of single origin variety.
We would like to express the original taste of the tea tree from the tea plantation, therefore we do not perform secondary processing. However, when we pour hot water, it returns to the leaves.
[KYOTO BLACK TEA]
Tea leaves that have been exposed to the summer sun are withered to create a sweet and fragrant black tea. Because it has little astringency, you can enjoy it straight without adding sugar or milk.
It’s best when you want to refresh yourself.
We came across a tea plantation in Wazuka Town. Fueled by a passion for exploring the essence of wild tea and fostering a deep connection to tea culture, we made the move from southern Thailand to our beloved Wazuka Town in Kyoto. Here, we embarked on the cultivation of tea, committing to a method that abstains from the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
We've curated a special tea gift set, adorned in hand-woven fabric crafted by the Lenten tribe—a mountain tribe that can be found dwelling from Thailand to Laos.
The term "Lenten" is synonymous with "indigo dyeing," capturing the artistry of a people dedicated to preserving their crafts and eco-centric way of life for future generations. Enchanted by the allure of the Lenten community, we felt compelled to intertwine their unique handiwork with our tea.
Our tea, meticulously produced, finds itself delicately wrapped and embraced by the intricacies of their woven cloth. (Note: The sewing is skillfully executed in Japan.)
We carefully trim the precious hand-woven cloth, transforming it into square pieces that can be repurposed in daily life with a sense of mindful enjoyment and remembrance of savoring our tea. Each piece bears the mark of the Lenten tribe's handcrafted artistry, showcasing the uniqueness inherent in hand-woven and hand-dyed fabrics. While you may notice variations in color and occasional thread protrusions, we encourage you to embrace and relish the authentic warmth of these handmade textiles.
It's important to note that the dyed fabric's color will naturally evolve with each wash, offering a delightful transition that adds to its charm. (Indigo: Indigo dyed / Yellow: Jackfruit tree dyed)
