Trans-temporal and spatial creations of ceramic artists and users
The charm of crackle tea sets lies in that they transcend time and space. They are works completed by the potter and the owner. Every crack and every layer of color is a common journey between you and this vessel. Over time, this work will be enriched by the bits and pieces of your life, becoming a true work of art with "beauty of use".
The works of erez Yuyifang are for you who love details and pay attention to the quality of life, so that tea tasting is no longer a simple action, but a continuation of enjoyment and taste.
→Purchase Notes:
1. All products of this design studio are handmade, and each piece is different, which is also the charm of ceramics.
2. All the works in this design studio are new works by Mr. Yu Huazi, and there is only one of them. The design studio will update new works at any time. If you like a certain work, please act quickly. If it is sold or updated, please forgive me! Or contact the design studio to see if there are more similar works.
3. During the firing process, the glaze may have some natural distribution, which is completely normal. Due to the external temperature, the glaze surface may have slight cracks, which is also the key to our color retention. If you have any questions about the product, please send us a private message.
About the Author:
Author: Mr. Yu Huayu
Born in 1980, he was exposed to the mysterious hand-thrown pottery making in junior high school and it has always been unforgettable for him. After retiring from the army, he went to Yingge alone and successively studied under two teachers, Wu Guorong and Wu Jiancai, who laid the foundation for his throwing and firing pottery. After setting up a workshop, he carefully developed and won the Taiwan Golden Pot Award Ceramic Design Competition Cultural and Creative Expo Gold Award and the Fucheng Taiwan Craft Cultural and Creative Promotion Association Excellence Award. He is now a contemporary Taiwanese young ceramic artist
Teacher Yu Huayu has spent more than 20 years mastering the properties of various types of clay, integrating them into his own creative work, combining tradition with modernity, and developing the Yaobian Zhiye series, the Yankuang series, and the Zini Yunyan series of ceramic works. During this period, Teacher Yu also successfully reproduced the firing techniques of Song Dynasty celadon! The crackle series of works imitates the Song Dynasty wood-fired techniques, firing for 5 consecutive days and 4 nights, with the temperature maintained at above 1260 degrees. After turning into ash, it falls naturally, presenting the "cracking" of Song Dynasty celadon porcelain, which is amazing.
