The theme of this collection- The Mountain of Formosa, was inspired by the designers impression from the experience of hiking in the mountains’ ridges and forests at their own homeland in Taiwan. The theme of mountain elements has expressed in many of the design details in the pleating folds, pockets designs, the hem silhouette, and the upper back designs. The prints in this collection are in three designs, and each design motif made into two color ways. The designer trying to give the different levels of expression from her personal experience of approaching to the mountains’ peaks- with the imaginative mapping of contour lines, memory of the journey through the Black Forest of Mt. Snowy, and the heavy wind blows with hail at the ridge of the mountains. Features: The dress is design to be loose fit in gently A line silhouette can trim down the body shape. The loose fit also makes it comfortable to wear. The length of the dress is perfect to add a legging inside, or adding a wide pants inside, or you can just simply wear it along. The front curved cutting line with pockets openings is the special design detail in this dress, and are functionally convenient. The slightly dropped shoulder with short sleeves at the length that can covers your upper arms if you don’t like to expose so much of the arms. The hem shaped with curve from shorter front to longer back, which slightly covers the calf, makes your legs looks slender.
