Reminder: Before using your new product, please be sure to wash it once with a neutral detergent, and thoroughly spin-dry before hanging to air dry. Since colored cotton is a natural material, the color is not fixed. During the first wash, a very small amount of light brown color may release; this is a characteristic of natural colored cotton and not a result of dyeing (much like how leaves release green sap or fruits release colored juice). Although the released light brown color is barely visible to the naked eye, it can flow downward while drying, potentially leaving brown water marks. Using a neutral detergent will carry away the released color, preventing it from staining the fabric of your pad; please do not wash with water alone. Using the spin-dry function on your washing machine helps remove excess moisture and speeds up drying, which prevents water marks.
