Magellan Birdwing Butterfly ( Troides magellanus ) 珠光鳳蝶
The Magellan Birdwing butterfly is quite similar to the Golden Birdwing, except the Magellan has a pearlescent sheen and is often refer to as the “flying pearl”.
Indigenous to Orchid Island of Taiwan, Magellan Birdwing butterfly is a Class I protected species, and there are now very few of them left.
