The color of the pencil case will gradually transform into a warm caramel hue over time, with exposure to light, and through use! The zipper is a Japanese YKK Excella No. 3 double-headed zipper with enlarged teeth, known for becoming smoother with each use (the larger version uses a No. 5 zipper). For basic care (every 1-3 months): First, gently brush the leather surface with a soft brush (like a horsehair brush). Then, use a clean, soft cloth to apply a thin layer of leather conditioner. After conditioning, the leather item will have a lovely sheen!] *Stain Treatment [Scratches: Gently rub with leather conditioner against the direction of the scratch to minimize its appearance.] [Discoloration: During humid summers or when it rains, try to avoid wearing light-colored clothing to prevent dark leather from staining your clothes.] [Mold: To prevent mold on leather items, you can stuff them with newspaper or keep them in a well-ventilated area with low humidity.] [Preventing Water Stains: 1. Wet the entire leather item evenly (do not rub forcefully while wet, as this can cause deformation and discoloration). 2. Allow the leather item to air dry naturally (do not use high heat to dry, as this can cause the leather to crack). 3. As the leather dries, its oils will deplete.
