Inspired by this, we visit temples, take photos, and gather records. Using "rice grains," a motif that truly embodies the simple and down-to-earth spirit of southern Taiwan, as the basis for our designs, we've created charming, simplified illustrations of deities, highlighting their distinctive features. **◎The Four Great Yue Lao Deities of Tainan Series** Among life's four joys, love is always a central wish for many. Thus, in the Tainan Blessing Series, we first present the Four Great Yue Lao Deities. We personally visited the four most distinctive Yue Lao deities in Tainan, enshrined at the Grand Temple of Guan Yin, the Grand Empress Palace, the Chongren Temple, and the Sacrificial Temple of Wu. We've playfully reimagined these deities with a rice grain motif. Whether you seek a destined partner, a rekindled romance, harmonious relationships, or to ward off unfaithful partners, they will draw the happiest smiles for your relationship's red thread. **◎Ward Off Unfaithful Partners** The Yue Lao (Matchmaker Deity) at the Sacrificial Temple of Wu is righteous and stern, specializing in dispelling ill-fated romances. Legend has it that if your significant other is unfaithful, has a third party, or is a love-them-and-leave-them type, you can petition the Yue Lao to drive away the third party who lacks proper judgment.
