【The Story of Assam】
During the Japanese colonial period, the first batch of Assam varieties introduced to Taiwan by the Japanese could not be reproduced in large quantities because they required artificial sprouting for planting. The tea reform field improved this variety and called it "Taiwan Tea No. 8" . It is adapted to Taiwan's soil and climate and is very easy to grow. This has led tea farmers to switch to Taiwan Tea No. 8. The first Assam variety introduced to Taiwan was very rare. After seventy or eighty years, this special malt aroma has developed. Whether it is the accumulation of time or the characteristics of the variety is no longer known‧‧‧
