To promote Hakka culture and shape distinctive industry brands, the Hakka Affairs Council has established a CIS (Corporate Identity System). This initiative brands eight local Hakka products: Sour Orange Tea, Neishan Orange Sauce, Neishan Bitter Tea Oil, Barrel Orange Cake, Gongguan Pickled Vegetables, Miaoli Black Tea, Neipu Brewing Master, and Zhutan Soy Sauce. By integrating traditional Hakka ingredients with Taiwan's mainstream market, the Council aims to highlight Hakka culinary charm and value, bringing these traditions into modern daily life.
"Sour Orange Tea" represents the Hakka spirit of gratitude and perseverance, transforming tart Tiger Head Oranges into a smooth national beverage through meticulous processing. "Neishan Orange Sauce," an essential condiment in Hakka households, enhances dishes with its sweet and sour aroma, especially in hot seasons.
These simple ingredients reflect the dedication and care of Hakka communities, evolving into the artisan works of Hakka cuisine.
