— About Pinkoi Design Awards — Established in 2022, the aim of Pinkoi Design Awards is to craft an ideal lifestyle through design. Taiwan | QING YANG XIAO

Shout Visual Studio / Designer

QING YANG XIAO, a renowned Taiwanese designer, specializing in album cover design, merchandise, and installation art, has created over a thousand pieces to date.

His design style blends cultural traditions with modern elements, and his works have received numerous awards both domestically and internationally. In 2023, in collaboration with his daughter, he won the Grammy Award for Best Recording Package for the ""Tanlan Ancient Trail Trilogy"" soundtrack album ""Beginningless Beginning.""

Additionally, he has served as a judge for prestigious international awards, including the Grammys, the Independent Music Awards in the United States, and Japan's Unknown Asia.

Sunny Wong, the founder and designer of studiowmw, believes in design as a tool for solving problems and bridging people and products. The expertise of studiowmw spans product packaging, interior, and web design.Clients included International Photography Festival, The Hong Kong Institute of Architects and several renowned cultural institutions in Hong Kong.

The team's remarkable design capabilities have earned them numerous awards in international design competitions, including the Tokyo TDC and the Golden Pin Design Award.Their works are collected by HKU Art Museum and HK Heritage Museum.

Japan | SATORU KURAMOTO

Taiwan Tsutaya / Director and Senior Manager of Product Planning

Mr.KURAMOTO currently serves as a director and senior manager of product planning at Taiwan Tsutaya. He joined CCC (Culture Convenience Club) in 2005, focusing on collaborating with major media companies and managing DVD product procurement. Since 2007, he has held roles as a buyer, merchandiser, and supervisor, and serving as branch manager for 100 franchise stores for five consecutive years.

In 2021, Mr.KURAMOTO transferred to Taiwan to serve as the director of SHARE LOUNGE, a creative shared space established by CCC, and concurrently as the head of product planning. Not only does he bring more imagination, creativity, and inspiration to the public through space design, but Mr.KURAMOTO also dedicates himself to realizing the vision of a better life through his expertise in product planning!

Architectural Design Director at Maincourse Architect, Creative Director at Livelio Design

Prior to founding Livelio Design and becoming an official distributor for a few selected international and Thai product design brands, Tanapon had been collaborating with more than 20 local designers in the Bangkok design scene, during his time working as the Creative Director for ROOM Concept Store - one of the very first design concept store in Bangkok.

With over a decade of experience as an architect, interior designer, furniture designer, and product designer, he has joined Maincourse Architect and has become one of the partners. He works with a functional and minimalist approach to create thoughtful projects that are developed through attention to details and simple elegance.

Johanson established JL Design as the first company in Taiwan specializing in design and motion graphics. The work produced by JL Design has received many international awards and Johanson has been invited many times to serve as a judge for design awards such as PromaxBDA and Red Dot. In recent years, he has been responsible for planning important awards ceremonies and exhibitions in Taiwan. Since 2020, he has served as the Chief Innovation Officer at Good Finance Securities Co., Ltd., which has allowed JL Design to leverage the power of design in creating a new dialogue between society and finance.

Japan|Yu Yamada

Buyer and Curator at Method Inc. After working as a buyer for Idée Shop in Minami-Aoyama, Yu founded Method in 2007 and began working as a freelance buyer. His past works as a planning consultant include: The National Art Center Tokyo Museum Shop (“Souvenir from Tokyo”), the 21_21 Design Sight Shop, the Good Design Store Tokyo by Nohara, Made in Pierre Hermé Marunouchi, and the Tsubame-Sanjo Factory Festival. Hong Kong|Javin Mo

Javin is the Founder and Design Director of Milkxhake Design Studio. He is a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI), a graphic designer from Hong Kong, an art director and a visual culture curator, with a significant international network and voice. In recent years, he has traveled frequently between Hong Kong and Taiwan for design and culture, collaborating with many internationally renowned art and cultural institutions and museums. He has also actively participated in the curation of graphic design in Asia. His works have been selected for many local and international design competitions, and in 2019 he served as one of the judges for the British D&AD Awards.

Ark is currently the general manager of New Time (China) Co., Ltd. and the founder of Lusso Casa. He has been engaged in the international design and craft industry for many years, and his experience has allowed New Time to become the most influential general agent for home furnishing brands in China. Ark has also served as a judge for the Interior Lifestyle China exhibition and Japanese craft design awards. He has closely collaborated with high-end bookstores, furniture and clothing stores, boutiques and museums in mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, actively creating a platform for cultural exchange and good living.

Thailand|Montinee Yongvikul

Montinee is currently the director of creative city development at the Creative Economy Agency of Thailand. She is dedicated to developing the creative economy to advance both economic and social development. She is a longtime veteran of the Thai creative and design industry. She has worked as the coordinator for important annual events such as Bangkok Design Week and the Isan Creative Festival in Northeast Thailand. She has also worked as the marketing director and policy development director for the Thailand Creative and Design Center (TCDC) and in many other important positions related to the development of urban design.

Taiwan|Karen Yang

Creative Director at ADC Studio, Director and Buyer at TOOLS to LIVEBY

After graduating as a graphic design major from University in Australia, Karen returned to Taiwan and started working in the advertising industry. Later she founded ADC Studio and established the stationery brand and shop Tools to Liveby with her business partners. The shop has appeared in international magazines and is loved at home and abroad. Within one year after opening, the shop was also selected by Maison & Objet as one of the best retail shops for 2012. She is also the owner of Taiwanese tea salon “Liquide Ambré”, and the initiator of “Me, Marché”, a premium market event that brings style lovers together. She often develops her taste through shopping and traveling, specializing in stationery and tea products. Opening a shop has allowed her to convey and share ideas through her favorite things.

Hong Kong|Toby Ng

Toby Ng is the founder and creative director of Hong Kong-based Toby Ng Design, established in 2014. Prior to this, he graduated from Central Saint Martins, London in Graphic Design and practiced internationally in London, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Specializing in brand identity and graphic design, Ng rigorously tackles design challenges with wit and aesthetically meaningful communication.

Ng is the winner of prestigious awards both internationally and locally—including British D&AD Awards, New York One Show Awards, New York Type Directors Club Awards, German Red Dot Awards, Tokyo Type Directors Club Awards, HKDA Global Design Awards, Golden Pin Design Awards, and Design for Asia Awards. Curator, Writer

Jessie has previously held important positions at Vision and Elle Deco magazines. She founded and served as editor-in-chief at original design magazine “Grand Design”. She was also editor-in-chief at high-end lifestyle magazine “CIRCA”. She established her own studio in 2016.
She is currently an acute observer and promoter of the design field at QingStudio, focusing on the integration and reinterpretation of contemporary crafts and design. She continues to discover a new generation of talent in the field of crafts and design, creating more possibilities for exchange via exhibitions, publications and forums.

Thailand|Siriwan Chiwarak

Founder and Creative Director of GREEN DOT BLUE Co. Ltd.

After graduating with a degree in architecture, Siriwan worked as a creative-based art director in advertising agencies. At this time she also established the eco-lifestyle brand “ARTWORK”. Later on she started the company “GREEN DOT BLUE”, which is focused on eco-friendly and vegan-friendly design concepts. Works from ARTWORK and GREEN DOT BLUE have been awarded many prizes (such as the Good Design Award, DEmark Award, and Golden Pin Design Award), including a special award for “Circular Design.”
