The master mind of Yu Square - Ringo Yu was born in Taipei, Taiwan and had lived in London for 6 years to complete her education as well as some work experiences. She graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 2011 specialising in textile design , where was the place that she found and learned her lifetime interest- knitting!

She loves to sit in front of the desk all day, keeps her hands busy with either knitting needles or knitting machine whilst watching her favourite criminal series and films. She couldn't stop making swatches, jumpers and tiny things like necklaces and hats, so one day she realised that she should sell her works and share her aesthetics with other people around the world, that's how she started Yu Square in 2013.



With a background in print, Ringo has a particular love of creating and mixing graphic patterns with colours. She's also an architecture lover that people might find influences in her works. She doesn't consider Yu Square as a fashion label, but a well-handmade brand that can keep her customers warm, stylish and unique.
