The Mills is a landmark revitalization project from Nan Fung Group. Through an extensive architectural conservation process, the historic make-up of the original factory buildings was preserved and transformed, now collectively known as The Mills. These buildings witnessed Hong Kong’s manufacturing heyday in the 1960s, and now carries on that legacy with a future of applied creativity and innovation.

One of the visions after the revitalization of The Mills is to promote Techstyle (technology + style), where themes of textile, fashion, textile and technology are woven into experiences of innovation, culture, and learning through different events and souvenirs.

Reflecting the curatorial mission of CHAT (Centre for Heritage, Arts and Textile) at The Mills, CHAT Shop is the destination for textile and culture lovers who appreciate curated merchandise from Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific that embodies the heritage and innovation in the culture of making. Signature collections of CHAT Shop include CHAT Originals, which are thoughtfully designed products often produced in-house or in collaboration with prominent international artists and local collaborators. Our collections aim to present our visitors with meaningful souvenirs to continue the CHAT experience.

Refunds & Exchanges
If you have any questions about the item, we recommend that you contact the designer before purchasing. A conversation beforehand can sufficiently reduce the potential time, energy and expenses needed for the refund and exchange process.
Refund requests should be made within 7 days after receiving the order.
Designers reserve the right to decline a refund request if it is not made within the 7 day period after the order arrives at the customer or if it does not meet the terms outlined in the Pinkoi Return Policy. We recommend that you contact the designer before requesting a refund.

Refund process
  • Once the designer receives a request, they will contact the customer within 3 working days.
  • Once the designer approves the refund, please return the refund item(s) within 3 working days and send a message to the designer via Chats to notify them. Please also attach the name of the courier and the tracking number.
  • Once the designer receives the refund item(s), they will verify and complete the refund within 3 working days.
