Inspired by an internship class few years ago, we set foot in the realm of tea. We own not an inherited tea farm, nor are any of us from a tea plantation family. But we aspire to support the Taiwanese tea farmers with pesticide-free methodology, in order to visualize the “Satoyama Spirit” that represents the harmony between human production and the environment. With further endeavors we established Senpuku in 2015 to present the nature-friendly Taiwanese tea.
To further refine the taste and stabilize the quality of our tea, we have researched the production of traditional Oolong. By the end of 2016 we not only have contracted cooperation with tea farmers, but also are joined by young tea masters. We have entered a new stage of tea production and organic tea plantation management.
