THE STORY:
It started out in my tiny apartment in Queens, New York. I started designing, printing stationery back in 2017 with the simple desire for a fun and meaningful ways to connect with my friends and family overseas. Fast forward to 2020, PHS has grown from a hobby to a side hustle with over 35+ online and brick-and-mortar retail stores across the world. Based in both New York and Bangkok, I take pride in being a 100% locally made independent greeting card maker by long-term partnering with local print shops. With every design choice, I aim to celebrate and connect people together through playful designs and humor (and a dose of cat memes).
ABOUT THE MAKER:
Piamrak Hattakitkosol, or “Ping Hatta” in short, is a Thai illustrator, artist, and maker of little things living in New York City and Bangkok. She also partners with brands as a live-event artist, adding that special touch to any corporate events, launches, fashion shows. Her whimsical illustrations reflect her ongoing commitment to representing contemporary fashion and the beauty in diverse ethnicity, body size, age, gender, and culture. Ping works across various medium, including gouache, crayons, acrylic, embroidery, linocut printmaking. Her talent has been recognized by international brands and publications such as Vogue, American Illustration, Jo Malone London, Sephora, Rebecca Minkoff, among many more. Ping continues to actively exhibit, having her works in private collections internationally.
