NEKONOKO is a three-person unit with Kumi Hijikata and the president being a cat. The artist is his grandmother, Ei Hijikata. They create pictures and miscellaneous goods, mainly featuring cat characters of various things in the world, and participate in exhibitions and events. Their most well-known characters include cat goldfish and cat mushroom.
