For objects made of solid wood, each piece will have different colors and textures, such as color difference, tree knots, mineral lines, spots and cracks. Walnut is no exception. These are traces of plant growth. Even different positions of the same piece of wood may have texture differences and color differences. This is the characteristic of natural materials. Walnut has more branches, which creates its rich and beautiful texture.
The material we choose is North American FAS-grade black walnut. Compared with other parts of the world, North America's forest industry is more advanced and developed, and the board processing and drying processes are more stable, with less deformation and cracking.
While utilizing forest resources, North American forest areas follow the principles of sustainable forest management, scientifically plant and utilize trees, so as to avoid excessive logging and damage to forest areas, and be friendly to the ecological environment from the root.
About daily maintenance of natural wood products.
1: Wood products can be washed with water, but do not let them soak in water for a long time. After washing, they should be wiped dry in time and placed in a ventilated place to keep dry.
2: If the object looks gray or dry after using it for a period of time, you can use a lint-free cloth to apply olive oil, walnut oil or food-grade beeswax oil for maintenance, and slowly rub the oil into the wood fibers.
