"MUMBLE" was founded in 2013 and is an original brand of handmade wooden hairpins.
In the long history of jewelry, especially hairpins in Asia have a very important position, and now people are gradually unfamiliar with them. We think that the beauty and use of hairpins are quite wonderful, so we decided to incorporate more modern aesthetic design and practicality into this traditional jewelry, hoping to make it known to the public through our efforts. The production is based on the study of wood, as much as possible to let different woods show their unique charm between the square inches of the hairpin. In addition, we will deliberately retain the natural texture and hand-made traces of the wood that will not affect the use, so as to distinguish it from the rigid and wooden hairpins under mechanized production. More importantly, through our years of experimentation, these mechanisms and production traces will become vivid and intriguing after long-term use.
