The wood we use, in addition to common wood, we focus more on the development of local wood. The current situation in Taiwan is that there are many good-quality on-site woods, which are not used in mass-produced wood products because the quantity is not large enough. However, the type of small-scale production in our studio is very suitable for creating with local wood.
Local woods such as Taiwan teak, acacia wood, longan wood, etc., have unique aromas and textures that are very beautiful. The wood produced locally also reduces the carbon footprint of international transportation. We hope that through our creation and more attentiveness, we can achieve a kindness to nature and bring people and things closer together.
