The story of how a bagaholic girl transforms into a Leather Bag Artisan.

After spending years in the garment industry and turning down a chance to further her career in New York, Eve embarked on a journey to pursue her passion with leather bags when, in 2017, she moved to Milan, in pursuit of a finer understanding in the arts of Leather Goods Design. While in Milan, she understood that designing quality bags is inseparable from quality leather bag making. Soon, she was in Florence for a chance to soak in the rich legacies of Italian leather craftsmanship—ranging from pattern making, cutting, splitting, assembling, sewing, to finishing—slowly building her way to becoming an artisan of leather bags.

In 2019, Eve finished top in her class at Polimoda, receiving her master’s degree in Bag Design from an academy widely regarded as one of the top 10 among world’s fashion institutes. Her graduation collection “5 Temi”, inspired by streets of Taipei, showcased a mellow and distinctive series of leather bags featuring unexpected ways of opening. This collection won her the opportunity to represent Polimoda in Lineapelle, the largest international leather fair.

With the support of her professors and fellow designers, Eve launched her personal designer brand, linalu studio. linalu studio practices mellow and whimsical fantasy through minimal and eccentric approach. In the bubble filled with dreamy colors, it creates a minimal and unique style infusing the spirit of Italian leather bag craftsmanship. It also seeks to strike a balance between aesthetics and practicality. linalu studio is dedicated to bringing affordable luxury and leather craftsmanship into daily lives, bringing to its customers a dash of polished creativity to their personal styles.

linalu studio uses all leathers imported from Europe, mostly from high-end Italian tanneries. All linalu studio products are produced and made in Taiwan.
