Leyan = Happy wool felt — we aim to spread happiness everywhere!

Leyan was founded in 2015 in Taiwan by designer Yu-Ching Lin. Our exquisite boutique is located in the National Taichung Theater in Taichung, Taiwan.

Our needle felting kits are inspired by both nature and animals. We hope that the process of needle felting will make you feel warm inside, bringing healing and happiness to your life little by little as you create new things. In addition to the needle felting kits themselves, we also offer personal and group workshops, as well as team building classes for companies and organizations. Our collection of designs also includes luxury accessories and home decoration products.

All products are designed and produced in Taiwan using sustainably sourced materials with minimal use of plastics in their packaging.

In an age where every detail in life can be digitized so quickly, the words you want to say and the love you want to express can often become as cold and emotionless as simply copying and pasting. But the process of needle felting exudes a warm healing power and is a great way to help you relax and enjoy an inner dialogue. By progressively adding your own personal thoughts and feelings throughout the process, you will obtain a great sense of satisfaction from the handiwork you have accomplished with your own hands.

From cutting the fabric, hand turning it, putting on the drawstring, and finally printing it individually using a traditional silkscreen printing method, we provide a reusable canvas drawstring bag as the packaging, something that you will want to either give as a gift or keep for your own collection.

The kits are divided into six levels (from one star to six stars), so whether you are a beginner or an experienced creator, you can choose the appropriate level of product to craft.
