Grange started from Zhuolan and settled in Taitung in search of cleaner water and soil.

By taking advantage of the large temperature difference and natural farming methods such as symbiosis with weeds, vanilla is grown in an earth-friendly way without the use of chemical fertilizers or herbicides, making the vanilla scent mellow and increasing the amount of extracted oil. The seemingly laissez-faire management actually implies "coexistence with the soil"; the essential oils after extraction do not contain synthetic flavors or pigments. This is the gentleness of "coexistence with people" - Pu Cao Garden not only grows vanilla, but also restores the fragrance of the land.
