Dong Dong
Illustrator, picture book writer, lecturer.
A native of Changhua, now lives in Taipei. In 2019, he graduated with a master's degree in children's book illustration from Cambridge College of Art in the United Kingdom.
He is good at integrating animal characters into the creation of works with anthropomorphic techniques, interpreting the childlike innocence and innocence of his personal style.
Published the picture book "Will it be a home run?" ", "The true end is the endless pursuit" and other works,
His works are also scattered in publications such as various magazines, commercial websites, and children's literature illustrations.
▒ Personal experience▒
In 2016, he was selected into [Taiwan Cultural Fair Talent100]. Published the first picture book "Will it be a home run?" ".
In 2017, he was selected into the [Asian Illustrations-Asia Rise Illustration Exhibition].
In 2018, he was selected into the [Shenzhen International Illustration Exhibition_Emei Life].
In 2019, he was selected into the [Shanghai Asian Illustration Art Festival] and published the picture books "Hello Kitty Grandma's Birthday" and "Let's Enjoy Flowers Together" with Sanrio from Taiwan. In the same year, he went to Beijing and Shanghai as a lecturer for picture book courses.
In 2020, he held his first solo exhibition "Becoming a Brave and Shining __". In April of the same year, he published a collection of poems "The Real End Is The Endless Pursuit" and was selected into the Taoyuan International Illustration Exhibition. In October, he co-published the series of picture books "Unhappy Caterpillar", "Little Red Riding Hood", "Happy Birthday, Little Rabbit", "Puppy Teeth and Butterflies" with Mainland Publishing House.
In 2021, published the first original picture book "Little Musician", which was selected into the [3×3 International Illustration Awards Picture Book Category Best].
