About us,
The Dharti Mata Workshop is located in a mountainous village outside of Kathmandu. All our pads are made with natural material and made by local Nepali women. We are committed to developing products that are friendly to the environment, women, and their families. For every pad you buy, you are supporting the employment of these rural Nepali women and help to create a more sustainable future.

Dharti Mata
In Sanskrit, Dharti Mata means “Mother Earth”
Mother Earth nurtures the whole creation.
However, modern society makes endless demands on women and nature,
thus harming the environment and threatening women’s well being.

We hope that through our work, we are able to rekindle a feminine awakening
and a love and care for Mother Earth.

Our mandates in Nepal:
1. Promote the use of reusable menstrual pads and an eco-positive, female-friendly attitude towards menstruation in urban and rural Nepal. Be a part of sustainable movements in Nepal.
2. Provide job opportunities for rural Nepali woman.
3. Develop practical and sustainable products that are friendly to the environment, women, and their families.
4. Based on the spirit of fair-trade and social entrepreneurship, keep our business economically viable and our products at an affordable range to the respective targeted clientele.

Refunds & Exchanges
If you have any questions about the item, we recommend that you contact the designer before purchasing. A conversation beforehand can sufficiently reduce the potential time, energy and expenses needed for the refund and exchange process.
Refund requests should be made within 7 days after receiving the order.
Designers reserve the right to decline a refund request if it is not made within the 7 day period after the order arrives at the customer or if it does not meet the terms outlined in the Pinkoi Return Policy. We recommend that you contact the designer before requesting a refund.
Designers reserve the right to decline refund requests for the following product types:
  • Customized products
  • Opened personal hygiene products
Refund process
  • Once the designer receives a request, they will contact the customer within 3 working days.
  • Once the designer approves the refund, please return the refund item(s) within 3 working days and send a message to the designer via Chats to notify them. Please also attach the name of the courier and the tracking number.
  • Once the designer receives the refund item(s), they will verify and complete the refund within 3 working days.
This shop provides exchanges
  • Exchange requests should be discussed with the designer via Chats within 7 days after the order arrives.
  • The designer will determine whether or not to provide an exchange based on the product type and existing stock. We recommend that you contact the designer via Chats before requesting an exchange.
  • Once the designer approves the exchange, please return the item(s) within 3 working days.
  • Once the designer receives and verifies the condition of the item(s), they will send the agreed upon exchange item(s) to you within 3 working days.
