〔 Dong Ding Tea Region 〕
Dong Ding Oolong tea from Lugu remains deeply rooted in traditional craftsmanship. With a balanced process of medium withering and medium roasting, it develops a refined flavor profile that harmonizes floral and fruity aromas with a smooth, lingering sweetness. This signature taste has shaped the tea memory of generations in Taiwan and stands as one of the iconic flavors that introduced Taiwanese tea to the world.
〔 A Taste Shaped by Nature 〕
The Dong Ding tea region is home to fertile red soils formed from alluvial deposits and sandy shale, with ideal pH levels and rich aluminum content. With an annual average temperature of 20°C, around 2,500 mm of rainfall, and about 140 rainy days per year, the area enjoys consistent, abundant moisture. These natural conditions create the perfect environment for cultivating healthy, flavorful tea.
〔 Working Hand in Hand with Local Growers 〕
In addition to cultivating our own tea gardens in Feng HuangMountain, we collaborate closely with tea farmers across Nantou. Together, we exchange knowledge in field management, tea varietals, and artisanal processing techniques. Through the revival of classical flower-scenting methods, our partnerships now extend from the north to the south of Taiwan, forming a network of trusted growers across the island’s finest floral regions.
