The story of Fadoushan and Meizhu

The French Bulldog is a small dog breed that is directly derived from the cross between bulldogs imported from England in the 1800s and small dogs native to Paris. Back in the 1800s, ribbon workers in Nottingham wanted to breed miniature versions of English Bulldogs and brought them to France during the Industrial Revolution. Since then, this tiny breed has become popular in France, where it was bred with the local rat-catching Parisian dogs. The crystallized product became a new breed called Bouledogue Francais, which is a cute French Bulldog.

Fa Dou Shan was established in 2022, specifically using Meizhu as the brand concept. The purpose is to share our love for Fa Dou/Meizhu, and to promote the importance of caring for animals. Pets are human beings' good friends, and they absolutely need to be loved. Because there is only us in their world!

I am Meizhu, a blue French bulldog with a unique and charming appearance, including a short flat nose, a broad face and big eyes, a short and lean body, and a loyal and gentle personality. From the day he was born, he was the baby of the family. I came to Taichung from a small island 1,100 kilometers away, survived the seven-day quarantine and lived a non-dog life, and finally became the store manager of Fa Dou Shan. Although my time as a store manager was short, I have perfectly integrated French Dou's charming appearance and lively personality.
