Three-legged White-Blue Scratcher

Original vessels created by ceramic artist Morishita Shingo. The lid was created by woodworker Yasushi Shimizu to fit the container. With this combination, a new "lidded container" was created. This time we would like to introduce a tripod-shaped piece. The white background is dotted with blue scratched patterns, giving it a rich look. When viewed from above, it has a hexagonal shape, and its three legs create a unique atmosphere. When you open the lid, the inside is a dark color. The smooth shape of the bright maple lid is accented with a twig-like knob. This piece has an exquisite balance with the hexagonal body. You can also use it as a container for sweets such as candy, sugar candy, and chocolate. Some people said they would use it as an urn. It can also be used as an incense burner. If moisture is left on the lid, it will stain, so please wipe off the moisture as soon as possible. Also, do not use a dish dryer, dry in direct sunlight, or use a microwave, as these may cause cracks or warping. Also, the lid is not airtight, so it is not suitable as a storage container for items that dislike moisture.
