When creating brooches, I often find myself combining a spectrum of colors. While the urge to use many hues is strong, I've consciously focused on a palette of similar tones for this embroidery. All larger components are secured with adhesive before being stitched into place. To ensure durability, the threads are reinforced from the back of the fabric with a fray-stopping agent, making the piece resilient. Beads are also secured from the back of the fabric with a fray-stopping agent for added strength. This is a unique item, unlike any other.
