Since its debut in 2001, the "Jar of Spring Plum" pickled plum DIY activity has been a beloved tradition, offering a spring experience of pickling Nantou green plums using Yingge ceramic jars. This year introduces the "Spring Vigor" designer plum jar, inspired by the resurgence of life in spring. The jar's body features textured patterns of leaves and grass, evoking the natural rhythm of growth. It is complemented by four colorways—misty purple, jade green, dawn blue, and soft pink—each paired with lid knobs featuring four spring elements: butterflies, plum blossoms, clouds, and flowers. The "cloud" motif is drawn from the Pottery Museum's public art installation, "Auspicious Clouds" by artist Chen-Chou Liu, transforming natural imagery into functional design. The jar lid is finished with a pearlescent glaze, reflecting a delicate, iridescent sheen under light, symbolizing the myriad scenes of spring.
