Experimental Painting Supermoon 1

I was inspired to create this work by a beautiful cosmic phenomenon – the Supermoon. This is the time of year when the moon is closest to Earth. This phenomenon occurs annually in late autumn. It has long been known that the moon influences not only the seas and oceans, but also the human body, which is composed primarily of water. It is during this period that feelings and emotions are particularly strong. These are precisely the intense feelings this phenomenon evoked in me. In working on this painting, I focused on the depth of emotion evoked by this cosmic phenomenon, the subtle beauty and simultaneous grandeur of this moment. For this painting, I used an unusual base – a blackout fabric with a melange weave. The uneven coloring of the fabric beautifully conveys the uneven, gray color of autumn twilight. This imperfect texture of the fabric (in the spirit of Wabi-sabi) enhances the atmosphere of authenticity and handcrafted craftsmanship, lending the subject a special graphic quality and tactile depth. The design was applied directly to the fabric without any preliminary preparation, priming, or base painting. I added a special component to the paints to prevent the paint from bleeding through the fibers. Finally, I varnished each element of the painting to protect it from damage and fading. What happened? The result is a laconic, deeply meditative landscape. An exceptionally large and bright moon, autumn twilight, and the silhouettes of the last leaves. The landscape is minimalist and modern, a combination of graphic style and melancholy. I plan to create a small capsule collection on the theme of the Supermoon. What will it look like? I don't know yet. The moon and my feelings will guide me. For the stated price, you purchase the painting itself and a mat. I carefully selected the shade for the mat, as it must match the tone of the painting itself. This is crucial for the correct perception of the painting.
