Walden chronicles his solitary observations by the lake, exploring how nature re-establishes order after disruption. Vernacular Interpretation: Even when fallen, a tree still points towards the sky. An end is not a disappearance, but a different mode of existence. Design Interpretation: This piece centers around driftwood, symbolizing a life carried away by water yet not abandoned by nature. The wood no longer grows, but becomes a perch for moss, wetland plants, and aquatic life. Above the water, Fimbristylis dichotoma blooms like fireworks, signifying the "burst of vitality." Below the surface, an ecological cycle continuously operates. It is not a completed landscape, but a process in progress—how life continues to stand after falling.
