As it's woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving imperfections" may appear, resembling small "frays." While these are unavoidable with the use of vintage machinery, we diligently inspect each piece at the factory and take care to avoid these areas during cutting. If found, we use them in less conspicuous locations. However, due to the nature of the machinery, they cannot be entirely eliminated.
